Dog-owners participated in the “Strut for Strays” Saturday, a walk organized by C.A.R.E., the Evanston animal shelter. The event was meant to raise funds for veterinary care, food and other needs of homeless cats and dogs. This map shows the trail that participants followed along with the location of the water station and the Ladd Arboretum where people could park. Also mapped are the two attractions that C.A.R.E. organized for dogs: a doggie carnival and a spin wheel where it was possible to win prizes for pets.
