One of the many student groups in Northwestern University is Wild Roots, an association concerned with teaching students about sustainable agriculture. As part of this objective a garden was set up on campus when the group was created in 2009. It is preserved by members of the student group as well as volunteers. The students have several work days each school quarter to which they invite all students to go to the garden and help. One of the work days happened this past Thursday. Around 10 volunteers showed up to assist the group in their spring cleaning.
